Another First Medal for PhilStic Labels Limited

I am sure that you have observed as one of our competitors at the Olympics and Para Olympics won a medal it is celebrated across our news. At PhilStic we have reflected on our medal count: -

PhilStic was the first company in NZ to produce the booklet style label - MULTIFOLD®

PhilStic was the first company in NZ to produce the peel and reveal or peel and reseal style label - MULTIPEEL® MULTIPRINT®

PhilStic was the first label printing company in NZ to produce high resolution printing plates in-house

PhilStic was the first company in NZ to have an HP Indigo with an ILP unit (In-Line Primer), which increases productivity as priming the substrate and printing is done in one pass.

Each of these accomplishments have been achieved as we at PhilStic strive for a better way to serve our customers and the NZ label market base. The latest attainment follows in this.

PhilStic is the first company in NZ to install a Gallus Labelfire 340 printing press.

The Gallus Labelfire 340 combines the latest digital printing technology with the benefits of conventional flexographic printing and further processing technology. It is raising the bar in label printing; the new digital inline label printing system features a printing module with state of-the-art inkjet printing heads. The strengths of the Gallus Labelfire 340 combined with inline finishing processes which have been specially optimised for digital printing enable the Gallus Labelfire 340 to varnish, embellish and further process labels inline – from the roll to the finished die-cut label in a single production operation.
